Nursery Location
The forest nursery is based in the village of Hlavečník.
Nursery Description
The nursery was established on January 1, 2021, by separating from nursery 340 – Kladruby n. Labem.
The nursery facilities include workshops and a climate-controlled warehouse. Water from a local source is used for irrigation. All nursery areas are fenced. The nursery also utilizes modern polytunnels.
The Hlavečník nurseries were established in the early 1990s. The soil in this nursery is medium-heavy, suitable for growing broadleaf seedlings. In addition to bare-root stock and seedlings in QuickPot trays, the Hlavečník nursery also grows Christmas trees on its own plantations.
