Explanatory notes

Kind of planting:

Seedling – plant grown up from seed where the root system was not modified during the cultivation

Plant – the root system of this plant was already modified by transplanting, undercutting, etc., heigt of the above-ground part varies from 50 to 70 cm

Large-size plant – plant with minimal two different root system modifications and with the above-ground part varying from 51 to 120 cm

Sapling - plant with minimal two different root system modifications and with the above-ground part higher than 121 cm.

 

Technology:

Prost, semenáč – bare root planting where the root system was not modified

Prost, podřez – bare root planting where the root system was modified by undercutting

Prost, školk. - bare root planting where the root system was modified by transplanting

QP, ROOT – air-pruned planting cultivated in certified containers QUICK POT (volume of cells 200-300 cm3) or ROOTRAINERS (volume 100-300 cm3)

BM - air-pruned planting cultivated in certified containers BOWMONT or QUICK POT of the volume 1600-1800 cm3

RCK – containered planting grown in peat pots „Jiffy“ of the average 11 cm

Ko 1,5-20 l - containered planting grown in plastic containers of the specified volume in liters

H 0,25-1 l - containered planting grown in plastic pots of the specified volume in liters

Krček:

Minimal size of root collar in mm (meassured in the place of intercourse with the soil where the root comes in the above-ground part.

Výška (velikost):

Height of the above-aground part of the planting material in cm.
